The primary purpose of assessment is to improve students’ learning and teachers’ teaching.
It is an integral part of instruction, as it determines the goals of education. It assesses the student to ensure the task is clearly related to the goal. Similarly, they help students identify their strengths, weakness and target areas those to be focused. To reinforce the content and evaluate the child’s performance, assessments are conducted.
Oral assessments enhance the child’s communication skills. After every topic student is encouraged to do oral activity solitarily or as a group. According to the child performance, the student is awarded with marks.
Written assessments including worksheets, surprise tests, Assessments, Formative Assessments and Summative Assessments enable the child to gain confidence over the topics.
